Villa Le Moline

La villa, edificata nella prima metà del '600 dalla nobile famiglia Agliata passò nel 1840 ai Principi Corsini poi ai Pozzo di Borgo. L'edificio composto da un corpo centrale, ornato da un bel loggiato a cinque arcate, con due ali laterali, internamente è arricchito da affreschi e arredi di incredibile eleganza. La villa è immersa in un parco romantico, di circa 10 ettari, attraversato da sentieri che conducono a luoghi di sosta ornati da statue e altri elementi di arredo tra cui spicca un romantico edificio neogotico. L'acqua è un elemento predominante all'interno del parco infatti oltre a una serie di fontane e scherzi d'acqua, sul retro della villa scorre un fiumiciattolo in cui si getta una cascatella.

Built in the first half of the 17th century by the noble Agliata family, the villa became the property in 1840 of the Corsini princes and later of the Pozzo di Borgo family. The building, which consists of a central block adorned with a fine five-arcade loggia and two side wings, is embellished on the inside with frescoes and some remarkably elegant furniture. The house is set inside a beautiful romantic park covering around 10 hectares, and is crossed by paths that lead to resting places adorned with statues and other structures, most notably a romantic, neo-Gothic building. Water is a major feature of the grounds: in addition to a series of fountains and water effects, a small stream runs behind the villa, complete with waterfall.
